The Inn at Silver Maple Farm is proud to announce that our partnership with Queechy Lake. This exclusive offer includes day passes to Adam's Point Beach Club. Each pass admits 4 people and is a wonderful way to spend the day in the countryside on the Catskill/Berkshire border.
Founded in 1979, Adams Point Beach has public served it’s community as an idilic day-getaway for Canaan residents and visitors alike. The organization is run by volunteers and is accessed by membership only, so you can ensure that you’ll get the best spot on the beach, knowing the waterfront will not be overcrowded.
Activities at the Lake:
The crystal clear waters of Adams Point Beach are rated as one of New York State’s cleanest lakes making a fabulous (and safe) space for anyone to take a dip! Don’t feel like swimming? Visitors can also fish in designated spots and boat on smaller, non-motorized vessels like kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards (as there is no public access to a motorized boating launch point). Set up day-camp under the shade of the woodland path, where you can utilize the public picnic tables and benches for munching on some pre-packed lunches - maintain the cleanliness of the area by taking out whatever was brought onto the site (all food, garbage, etc).
