Many guests have asked about the orange ribbon tied to the signpost at the entrance to our driveway. In fact, orange ribbons have become ubiquitous throughout Chatham. A few months ago our neighbor Leah Wightman was unexpectedly diagnosed with leukemia, and required a bone marrow transplant. To raise awareness and show support for Leah and her family, Chatham Flowers and Gifts made ribbons available to the community and collected donations to assist the family with incidental costs. Leah’s road to recovery continues, and we are all wishing her and her family the very best.
