Great Little Finds in the Neighborhood
Posted by: Silver Maple Farm
Our guests often ask us where we get some of our furniture and decorations. Most pieces are one of a kind finds - or, in the case of the pair of re-purposed Singer sewing machine dining tables, two of a kind! We regularly comb through little shops and dusty backrooms in the hopes of finding that one perfect table, or chair, or painting, or shelf, or lamp, that will look great in one of our rooms. Sometimes a great piece calls out to us, and other times they need to be dug out of a heap. Occasionally, they come to us as gifts, like the beautiful new chiming clock in the dining room. This small painted side table turned up at Queen Bee Consignments, just a few miles down the road from us. We think it is a perfect fit for the sitting area in Red Maple.
